M & M service is the oldest family-owned and operated repair facility in Pelham. It was co-founded by my father, Peter Muller Sr. in 1965. My father was trained and employed at Mercedes Benz in Germany prior to opening his own repair facility. Growing up around the automotive industry; naturally it captured my curiosity. I started working on bicycles and small motorcycles at the age of seven, and by the time I was ten I had my first car, a Volkswagen Beetle.
By the time I was twelve, I had pulled the engine out and rebuild it myself. I’ve been a mechanic and even Motorsports enthusiast sense! We spent 40 years at the same location I grew up in until twelve years ago when I decided to purchase the property that M&M currently calls home.
Our team of technicians is led by Nico Alex, my second-in-command. Nico specializes in advanced diagnostics; everything from check engine lights, emissions related concerns to in-depth wiring and electric faults.
Like many young adults today, Nico has been involved with computers and electronics his entire life. Nico’s curiosity always took things further, teaching him the ins and outs of electrical theory and operation, which is such a huge part of the automobile industry in today’s world. Much the same as me, Nico always got his hands dirty. Whether it was working on bicycles or his go-kart, he knew at a young age exactly what he wanted to do later in life. After High School, Nico attended and graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute, and has been here ever since!
